INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (ADAMS) – Nearly 30,000 kids in Indianapolis are getting a day off this month so their teachers can go to the state Capitol and demand more money.
Indianapolis Public Schools yesterday said they will close on November 19 so that teachers can hold a rally at the statehouse.
Teachers want lawmakers to improve their pay and benefits. About 15- hundred teachers say they will take a ‘day of action.’
